I recently purchased, along with other Civil War artifacts, the Confederate Army Regulations book that belonged to, and is signed by, "Capt Mitchell, 20th GA, 1862".

He's further identified as "H.C. Mitchell, B Company" within the book.

Although the cover shows substantial wear, the book is intact and is not missing any pages. It measures about 8" x 4" X 1" and has 420 pages.

There are a few glued-in small articles reporting names and dates of casualties within the Regiment along with some .
