Calvin Thomas, my gguncle was born in Richmond County, NC in 1825 the seventh child of eleven children born to John Thomas b.1792 and Elizabeth Covington b.1796.
Calvin went to Georgia before the onset of "The War of Northern aggression". I believe he served in a Georgia Confederate Unit. I have been unable to locate him or his descendants who I believe still live in Georgia.
Any help would be appreciated. I have located his three brothers from NC who died in the war and placed CSA stones on their graves. I wish to do the same for Calvin
