They didn't see much action until Captain Blodgett resigned, right? I found a couple of newspaper articles from the Richmond Dispatch, about him. He was acquitted. I know they were the original Co. I 3rd. Ga Infantry, then was artillery. I wonder if Blodgett's whole regiment was transfered or all the guys that signed that petition.
