Re: Sebolt/Seabolt-11 GA Cavalry or 65 GA Infantry

Alan-
To be honest, I was just kidding around with my argument, but I checked the Official Records and what do you know, General Order #30.
From Asst. Adj.-General R.J Hallett, Macon,Ga., Dec. 7, 1864. General Order #30. The follow military organizations, raised under the authority of Governor Brown, and afterward received into the Confederate service by Gen J.B. Hood-to wit, the regiment commanded by Colonel Findlay(Findley),and the battalions commanded by Majors Beall, Murkinson, Graham, McCallum and Ledford.
Special Orders 16 & 18 dated Jan 20 & 23 1865 put Gen. Wofford in command of these units.
