Yesterday I was reading the latest "Confederate Veteran" magazine and ran across a book review for "Two Confederate Hospitals and Their Patients Atlanta and Opelika" by Jack D. Welsh, MD. It doesn't give a publication date but I assume that it has just been published. According to the review, it comes with a CD containing over 18,000 patient names. Are you familiar with it? The Dr. Samuel A. Stout papers are the basis, just as the earlier work by Glenna Schroeder, "Confederate Hospitals on the Move: Samuel H. Stout and the Armay of Tennessee", published 1994.
