You are right!!! I just located the 1850 and 1860 census, which does not match my family records at all. My cousin did the records for me, and she got all the info from an old family bible. Our records show Cyrene (sp) as being the first born, in April 1843, then Roda in 1845 and so on down the list. Also in Dec. of 1860 there was another daughter born, Theresa, and in Jan. 1864 George W. was born, his birth was almost 5 months after Francis M. died. George was my GGrandfather. When my cousin did the family tree, she got as far back as Francis M. she did not follow the Wise tree any longer, she jumped over to Martha Kinard's family. This is the reason I did not have any info on any of Francis M. brothers. Looking at the 1850 census, I did not find a 14 year old Francis M. in any of the other Wise families that lived in Butts County. But you have answered all my questions completely, and I really appreciate it, I will try to get some more info on the Francis M. that actually served in the army, but that will come a little later. thanks again, you have really been a big help!!!!
