The names below are from my mothers family in Georgia. She was from Valdosta (Alice Bernice Davis[1909-2000]. The kin seem to have drifted down from the Carolinas across the southern part of the state. The only one I have claimed in my SCV linage is the first, Miles Cowart. I chose his regiment based on location.
I have some other guesses based on age, location etc, but am having difficulty confirming their actually being my Kin. Does anyone have any suggestions on a way I can go about confirming a few more of these. Some were too old and some to young. Many are brothers. Mother gave me seventeen names of her family. It has rage out of bounds now to over two thousand plus a web site, noted below. Any help would be appreciated.
