Ken, According to Aunt Genie, it is her brother John Kelly. According to census records he would have been much older than 15 (8, on the 1850 census). I am definately trying to track him down. She states he is buried in a family plot in Statesville, NC. Alan pinned down a John A Kelly from Walker County, GA in the 60th Georgia, but I still don't know if he was KIA or not.
