The Georgia in the Civil War Message Board

Roswell women who worked in a textile?

What happened to the women at Roswell who worked in textile mill who were rounded up and shipped North against there will? Did they make it home ebentually or did they stay in Ohio and INdiana, or wherever they were sent? THis story has always disturbed me.
