My GGF fought in the 34th Georgia but he had 3 cousins who served in Company G, 35th Georgia, one who died as a POW in Washington D.C. and is buried in Arlington Cemetery. Anyway, there were 6 Allen's who served in Company G, 35th Georgia, they're all probably related in some way:

Allen, David R. private September 16, 1861.
Discharged on account of serious affection of
legs, result of burn of seven years standing, July
25,1862.

Allen, Harrison- private February 28,1862.
Captured at Wilderness, Va. May 6, 1864.
Released at Elmira, N. Y. June 14, 1865.

Allen, Jesse- private September 16, 1861. Died in
Dumfries, Va. hospital January 11, 1862.

Allen, Richmond D. private February 28, 1862.
Died of disease at Augusta, Ga. in 1862.

Allen, William E. private February 16,1862.
Captured in 1865. Released at Point Lookout,
Md. June 22,1865.

Allen, William L. private September 16, 1861.
Discharged October 23,1861.
