Alan ~ I will get the data on the BEATTY soldier as soon as the rain stops. It began again this morning, a steady rain, but as soon as it stops, I'll drive out and get the info for the Georgia list. I missed my opportunity yesterday, opting instead to visit the Fort Smith, AR. library for info on my HENDRICK line.
Thanks for the suggestion about posting my info to the Ar. Civil War Board, but I've already done that. If anyone is doing AR. Civil War research, then they should definitely check out the EDWARD GERDES Civil War board or the Ar. Civil War site. They are both excellent sources filled w/info and questions.
