Re: 34th Georgia Infantry at Vicksburg

My great-great grandfather, William Thomas Nunn, a member of Company H 34th infantry, was conscripted in April of 1862 and surrendered in the Carolinas in the Spring of 2005. After his return home to Jackson County, family tradition say that he refused to discuss the war in amy fashion, including any mention of his personal experiences. An uncle of mine was kind enought to provide a basic historical outline for the varous engagements that the 34th participated in. I have been continuing my own research for the past eight years or so would be willing to share what informatiion I have with any interested parties in exchange for any information that the may have about the 34th, in particular, or Cummings regiment.
