Hey y'all. I was wondering if there's any way I can get hospital records for N.J. Smith, Co. B, 3rd Mississippi Infantry. According to his service records, he "died 24 July, Macon Hospital from effects of wounds rec'd 20 July near Atlanta Ga". And "appears on a list of casualties in Featherston's Brigade in the engagement near Peach Tree Creek, Ga, July 20, 2864....wounded severely". Unfortunately, that's all I know.

I live in Mississippi and was wondering if anybody can help me out. I'd greatly appreciate any assistance. Thanks!
