Re: Marietta Confederate Cemetery

I was born and raised in Marietta, and have never heard of a "Stonewall Cemetery". The Marietta Confederate Cemetery is just south of downtown, between Atlanta and powder Springs Roads. Just south of it is the Marietta City Cemetery. Marietta National Cemetery is to the east of town, along Roswell Road. Union casualties from the Battle of Kennesw Mountain are buried there. I was born within 500 yards of the National Cemetery, on South Avenue.(Naturally, LOL) One of my great uncles, who died in 1899, is buried in a small church yard on Wade Green Road, in Kennesw; the other one is in the Kennesaw City Cemetery. There are smaller family and church cemeteries all over the county, so maybe one of them is named "Stonewall", and I just never heard of it. Stan
