I'm interested in information on the Ga. 24th at Crampton's Gap. I know the book, Sealed with Their Lives by Timothy Reese was written about this battle. I am having trouble getting in touch with him. I live in White Co.,Ga. and teach in Hall Co. Many of the soldiers in the 24th came from these counties. I have researched that there were as many as 46% casualties that day at Crampton's Gap. I'd like to locate families with histories and interesting stories about these men to present to local historical societies and in the schools.
