My Gr-Grandfather James B. Thompson says on his Blount Co. Alabama pension papers that he was with the 1st Georgia Infantry, Co. B. I have never seen him on any muster roll or roster for any of the 1st Georgia Infantry regiments that I could find. He was living in Walton Co. Georgia when he enlisted and said he enlisted on about the 20th of March 1862 in Atlanta. Any help please.
