My gg-grandfather, Alexander Ewing Harris Jr., is (I believe) the AE Harris listed as a corporal with this unit (Company B out of Decatur GA). The commander was John T. Wimberly. I'm not entirely sure this is him, but it seems to me likely.

Other than a few listings on the internet, I don't find any details on this unit. AE was a proud CSA veteran, which can be seen from his headstone (at findagrave.com - he is buried in AZ). His brother, a Gadsden County Florida veteran, was a member of a CSA camp and a representative to state conventions.

The Battalion commanders were Lieutenant Colonel Arthur Hood and Major Charles H. Camfield. Company B's commander is listed as John T. Wimberly. That's about all I know.
