Looking at the pension application again, it actually does not say infantry. It says he enlisted in Company B in the 1st Ga Regt. on about the 20th of March 1862 at Atlanta Ga. and was honorably discharged on or about the 20th of April 1865. It does not mention any company name or any body elses name on the application. This application apparently did not ask a series of questions unfortunately. Thanks.
