I believe that the James Garrison in the 1st Georgia Infantry is my ggg-grandfather. I believe it is also possible this same man is the James Garrison in the 13th Alabama Infantry. James Garrison may have applied for a pension in Alabama or Georgia. Can anyone check an index for these states and see if the James Garrison in these units applied for a pension in Alabama or Georgia?
