According to my family tree information, Nicholas Bowen died in Worth County, GA and his father Benjamin died in Terrell County, GA. I don't have a place of death for Benjamin's brother Lumpkin or Nicholas' brother William. My research is an ongoing process. I find out something new almost every week. I just got posted to Fort Bragg, and I will also be investigating the 18th NC Inf from nearby, because I have a GGFather, James A. Cromartie who served with them. His son moved to Georgia and married Nicholas' daughter after the war. It's just amazing how it all ties together. I would love to have a copy of that B Company unit history that you spoke of. The only significant event that is listed for my relatives in the company is when Lumpkin Bowen was promoted to First Sergeant at Gettysburg.
Well, take care.
