Alan is right. If it makes sense then it's probably the right information. The men in Company B 49th regiment match the two men you first mentioned. They are in the right county. Then you identified a son in the same unit. I think what nails it is all three have middle names/initials that match your people. Not sure you can get a better match than that. Matching all names is as good as it gets in most instances.
