A.J. Cooper of thew 154th Tennessee (Senior) Regiment. He joined (or was conscripted) on November 15, 1863. I do not have a birth date for him, but family members and census records of his children show that he was born in Tennessee. He was probably age 35-45 although if he was drafted, he was able to avoid the draft for his age group for more than a year.
