Mr. Gillenwaters, I have no information that James Gillenwaters was in the 6th Georgia Cavalry. Not to say he wasn't in the Regiment. I know of other men who were in the 6th, but not listed on surviving rosters. Note, there was a 6th Georgia Infantry and I believe a 6th Georgia Battalion of state troops. If you do discover that James was in the 6th Georgia Cavalry please let me know so I can add him to my list. Sorry I could not be of more help. R. Cofer
