Loyd, George Pierce- private April 5, 1864. Captured at Sailor's Creek, Va. April 6, 1865. Released at Point Lookout, Md. June 29, 1865. (Born in 1848. Died in Newton County, Ga. February 10, 1870.)

Loyd, James M.- private May 3, 1862. Captured near Knox- ville, Tenn. December 3, 1863. Sent via Louisville, Ky. to Rock Island, Ill. January 6, 1864, and released there June 19, 1865. (Born in Ga. in 1842.)

Loyd, P. B.- private April 5, 1864. Surrendered at Appomattox, Va. April 9, 1865. (Born in Ga.)

Your new member should have no problem getting into the SCV.
