Chickamauga & Chattanooga National Military Park Superintendent Shawn Benge announces a special lecture to be presented at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 25th, at the Chickamauga Battlefield Visitor Center Theater. Park Ranger Anton Heinlein will present a talk on General Patrick Cleburne’s proposal to enlist slaves into the Confederate army in exchange for their freedom.
