Unknown Confederate dead now have names

Through a lot of research at NARA in DC, I was able to learn the names of some of the unknown Confederate Dead at the Greenwood Cemetery in Cuthbert, GA. At least one of them was found in Dr. Stout's vast papers that he had left behind. Shortly after Dr. Stout's death his papers were sold to many institutions and people. The papers that listed the death of at least one Confederate were found in the holdings in Austin,Texas. The Confederates CMSR had NO clues upon his demise yet through the medical papers it clearly states his name and date of death and unit and his place of burial in Cuthbert, GA. Unknown soldiers from Florida,Georgia,Mississippi,Tennessee, and Arkansas are just a few. If you find yourself in Southwest Georgia on March 29,2008 you are welcome to join us as proper stones with their names and units will be placed. Thx.

The Mary Brantley Chapter # 446 is having a dedication for the WBTS 5 markers, 2 are Unknown that Karen Pittman, a friend Dennis Brooke and myself have proven. Hope to see you there Saturday morning March 29 at 10:00 AM. Please try to attend. The public is invited.
Somebody with the Calhoun Co. SCV men, please tell all the other members, I really would appreciate your doing this for me.
