The Confederate Home was located in Atlanta, and initially the old soldiers who died there as residents were buried in Westview Cemetery, in west Atlanta, near the Home. There is a sizable Confederate plot there. But you are correct that in later years the veterans were buried in a section of the Confederate Cemetery in Marietta.

Of course, if family members would do so, many of the veterans who died in the home were trasnported back to their old homes and buried in cemeteries there.
