Have you checked to see if a microfilmed copy of the muster rolls exists for any or all of the companies of this cavalry unit at the GA Archives that coincides with the date of this clothing receipt roll? If so, then there is a good possibility the location of the troops at the time the muster was taken may be shown on the muster roll. I checked the compiled service record of my ancestor in company E of this unit (Capt. William L. Marler), but I didn't see any documents pertaining to a clothing receipt roll.
