I'm new to the forum. Is this a catch-all thread for the 6th Ga Inf?

My gg-grandfather John Barrett Everett was Co I, 6th Ga, wounded 30 July 1864 at Petersburg.

His brother Joshua was Co F, 57th Ga Inf, died 23 Aug 1864 after being wounded at Deep Bottom outside Richmond.

Numerous of my Bullard cousins from Twiggs County Georgia served and died also.

I'm looking for any and all information on their units, and looking for others descended from their units.
