Roy, as promised I looked in the Joe Brown Census otherwise known as the Georgia 1864 Census. I did find a G.N. Flowers who was 26 years old and eleven months. He was a Doctor and was born in South Carolina. In 1864 he was living in DeKalb, County Georgia.
