Re: 5th georgia infantry - Company A "Clinch Rifle

Mr. Handy,

I am a member of the Appling Grays, Camp 918, Sons of Confederate Veterans. The Appling Grays & Appling Rangers were from basically the same area of wiregrass Georgia, very near to Waynseboro & Screven where Fort Harrison was.

Our camp is posting weekly articles in out three county area for the month of April, Confederate History Month. We are also presenting a program on Confederate History at the Heritage Center on April 9 & also at the courthouse at our NEW monument on April 19. You can read the articles by Googling The Baxley News Banner, The Alma Times and/or The Jeff Davis Ledger.

I would be glad to help you look for any specific information you are looking for.

There are SCV camps in many European cities.

Your humble servant,

Tom Warnock
