Mr. Coffer,

I would love to attend the reunion. I believe I will be able to make those dates. One of my ancestors, William J. Ownbey was killed on Sept.19,1863 at the Battle of Chickamauga. I believe in the fighting @ Jay's Mill. So you see,Chickamauga holds a special place in my heart.

Feel free to email me anytime @ shanehonea@yahoo.com. I live in Rockmart,Ga. although all of my ancestors are from Union,Dawson, and Pickens Counties.

I have post war photos of my 2nd great grandfather,John Ownbey and my 3rd great grandfather James Wilson. Both of them were in the 6th. James Wilson was captured during the Chattanooga Campaighn and spent the rest of the war in a Yankee prison. I have not been able to find out which prison he was sent to. Any advice?

Regards,
Shane Honea
