I have been in contact with Mr.Cofer about the 6th Georgia Cavalry reunion. I have many ancestors who served with the 6th. I am very interested in a reunion as well as forming a 6th Georgia Cavalry Association. I think both ideas are worth trying. I have been doing research on this unit for many years. If you could give me some information on the idea behind a 6th GA. Cav. Association I would appreciate it. I am very interested in helping getting it off the ground and running.
