Looking for information on the 8 Batt'n Company D Georgia Infantry. Was first commanded by ZL Watters as Captain then he became Lt. Colonel. My gggrandfather "John A. Hardin" was Lieutenant then became Captain of this company. Both ZL Watters and John A. Hardin were from Gordon County Georgia. Little information has been found on 8 Batt'n , Company D.
