The records for the 52nd Georgia show only a Dempsey Seay in their roster.
There is also an Efford Seay in the same Company I, and a John Orin Seay in Company D.

His file only shows that he enlisted at Dawsonville, Ga. on March 4, 1862 and that he died August 10, 1862 in Dawson, Co. Georgia.
