Mr. Martin,

All of the info you provided is accurate as to Elijah L. Lawson, he hailed from Madison, was a 35 year old farmer, and was inducted on that date to Co. B. 60th NC Inf. Also, what few records I do have stipulate that he was assigned to the shoe shop by virtue of being disabled. I do not know what kind of marker he has but I await maybe a photo from the cemetery officials. Do you allow this can be corrected if proven wrong? Thanks and take care.
