Ivins C. Jackson,Co. C, enlisted August 24, 1861 at White Co., Ga and served for some time as Brigade Teamster, he was wounded in the left hand, gunshot wound M. B. [Minie Ball?], admitted to the hospital in Richmond October 7, 1864 and returned to duty October 26. He was again admitted to the hospital on November 21. No information as to Disease or return to duty.

He is listed on the register of those captured at Appomattox on April 9, 1865.

There is one card under E. C. Jackson which then refers to Ivins file.

Interestingly, he is recorded in the CW Research Database as Evans Calloway Jackson, This must come from the Roster of Confederate Soldiers of Georgia
