I would love to have any information you can share. In return I'll be glad to share what I have. My g grandmother was Sarah Eudora Davitte. I have pictures of Jacob Davitte and his wife Sarah Susan Burge (a formadible woman) and a very hazy picture of him in his uniform. We went to the house he and Sarah built and took some pictures, I'll be glad to send them on also. We couldn't get to all of the homesite as the owner wasn't there. There is a cave and a quarry there that my mother and her siblings used to play in as children. Couldn't see them either. We didn't want to trespass to far. The grave site is just down the road from the homesite, back in the woods. I believe the people who live across the road now own the property. I'm trying to get their permission to have the site cleaned up. Keep your fingers crossed.
