Re: Wounded Georgians at Gettysburg

Funny how things turn up. While my immediate ancestors at Gettysburg were in the 18th Ga., Co. A, I found another potential relative in the 4th Ga., Robert M. Boring, who unfortunately died of his wounds. He was in Co. K. The 4th was formed at Augusta, Ga., in April, 1861. There was another Boring in Co. K, Isaac W. Boring. Isaac is a common name in my line, up to my Granddad, Isaac Thomas Boring. Be interesting to find out if they are my kin. Stan
