Need information about Elias Dupree, on 1850 Federal Census in South Carolina with wife Elizabeth, in Rabun County, GA in 1857 per Poor School records, in Forsyth County, GA per 1860 Federal Census with wife and four sons - William, James, John, Franklin. Joined 38 Regiment,Georgia Infantry, Forsyth-Dawson County, GA, Dawson Farmers. According to Company Muster Roll records obtained from NARA, he was wounded at Second Manassas, VA 28 August 1862 and died of his wounds 27 October 1862. His name is shown as Dufrees on the Roll. I would like very much to learn where he was buried. Also any other information that you can share would be much appreciated.
