Mr. Martin - do you have any information on the 38th Regiment, Company I, Dawson County Farmers? I just posted a message titled "Elias Dupree". I think he was my GGGrandfather and am trying to find out where he was buried and any other information available about him. I got Muster Roll Records from NARA and they show he was wounded at Second Manassas on 28 August 1862 and died from the wounds on 27 October 1862. I have Elizabeth's (his wife) pension records and there is conflicting information about DOD, location, etc. There were no personal papers nor a medical card with his Roll records.
