There is nothing in his Service Record files other than the fact that he died in a Richmond Hospital two months after enlistment and that his widow filed for his effects and monies due in August 1862.

The CW Research Database found that he was buried in the Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond by the Roster of Confederate Soldiers of Georgia 1861-1865
