Your best bet is the National Park Service Soldiers & Sailors System at: http://www.itd.nps.gov/cwss/

There you will find a number of G & George Doziers. From there it's a process of elimination.

On locating any one individual, click on their unit affiliation which will generally provide you will a unit history
and battles in which they were engaged.
