For anyone who wants to look at the NPS database, Birmingham should be ideal. The Birmingham Public Library - Southern Collection has the NPS index on microfilm, the complete index published by Broadfoot in multi-volume book form, or you can access the NPS index on the web. It's also ranked as one of the top ten libraries for family research in the country. What more could you ask?
