His name does not appear on any of the lists found to-date. There are still some 1000 or so buried in the cemetery who haven't been
identify.

His records state that he was "killed in trenches, June 20."

As the troops on the siege line had limited mobility, those who died where immediately buried in a regimental burial ground nearby. Two things
could have occurred. One is that his grave site was not subsequently discovered. Or, the Federal troops who re-interred Confederate soldiers in
the city cemetery and was listed, but that list has not been located.
