Jeremiah L Stover

I recently came across an obituary of my GG-Grand Father Jeremiah L Stover (B 02-22-1838 D 10-03-27. He is buried in Shoal Creek Cemetery, White County,Cleveland, Georgia. The Obituary say he served in the 51nd Regiment of Georgia. I have to assume the typo should have read 51st or 52nd. A quick search of the internet shows that there is a Company B of the 52 Georgia Regiment from White County Cleveland Georgia with a Jeremiah L Stover. The 51st Regiment appears to be from SW Georgia. So the 52nd sounds like a match. I have found where Jeremiah L Stover was a private July 10,1862 . Captured at Vicksburg, Miss. July 4, 1863 . Released on oath of allegiance to U. S. Govt. at Chattanooga, Tenn. March 5,1864 . If any one has any information about Jeremiah L Stover I would appreciate it. By the way I live in Jackson, Mississippi and my wife has family land in Edwards, MS which is where the 52nd regiment fought during the Vicksburg Campaign.
