Getting back to the WBTS. I was looking at the bible entries at the link and noticed the marriage of C. R. Hodge and Sarah C. Perry 11-27-1872.

That C.R. Hodges may be a good candidate to have served in the war. I looked his name up and he might be. 1ST lieut. C.R. Hodge of Company B, 13TH Regiment Georgia Volunteer Calvary. The regiment was from around the Jasper County Area.
