In Response To: Re: 19th Ga Infantry ()

Thanks so much for all the responses thus far. I really can not know for sure if he is any of the ones listed. I definitely have copied everything for my files.

Robert H. Holland was living in Walker County, GA in 1861. 1870 he is in Monroe County, MS. His brother, Benjamin Polk Holland, in 1863 served in the 6th Battalion, Company D., GA Calvery (State Guards) as a Private and transferred (1864)to Co. D., 4th Regiment, GA Calvery and was wounded in the right leg, Walker County, GA. DS 04/26/1865. His brother, Andrew Jackson Holland (A.J.) also served and deserted in 1864 thus I am sure Robert H. was still in Walker County as of that date.

Thanks for any continued help...Robie
