I hope I'm not coming too late to this discussion. I am looking for burial information for S. K. Godwin who served in the 1st Georgia Reserves and I wonder where the burial information referred to in this thread was obtained? Both S.K. and his son S.B. were in 1st Ga Reserves, and they lived in Nashville, Berrien County, GA in 1860, so not exactly Savannah, but close enough apparently.
I'd appreciate any help anyone can give me.
