I am researching John Barry Martin, born about 1834, Washington County, TN, and died about 1899, Gilmer County, GA. He lived in DeKalb County, GA around 1890 until death. One of my deceased aunt's has in her notes that he served in the 8th Regiment GA Infantry, Co. F, Fulton County. Does anyone know how I can confirm this information. Thank you.
